Celebration Assembly Highlights Remarkable Achievements of Pupils
This week’s Celebration Assembly was a wonderful opportunity to showcase the extraordinary achievements of our children, both in school and beyond.
The assembly began with Headmaster’s Awards being presented to Isla H and Alfie P for their outstanding retelling of Hansel and Gretel. Their expressive storytelling and attention to detail left a lasting impression on both teachers and peers. Further commendations went to Marelia M, Maha N, and Olivia P, who were recognised for their exceptional story maps. These visual aids demonstrated not only their creativity but also their deep understanding of narrative structure.
In addition to academic excellence, several pupils were recognised for their achievements in the world of sport:
- Alice H was celebrated for her participation in her first-ever gymnastics competition, where she held her own against children two years older. Her dedication and hard work paid off as she performed with confidence and skill.
- Eleanor N was named Saracens Netball’s Most Improved Player of the Season, a fantastic honour that reflects her growth, perseverance, and commitment to her team.
- Billy K received a well-deserved Man of the Match award playing for Inkberrow FC, standing out among a large group of 20 players with his impressive performance on the field.
- Lyra H was praised for her cricketing prowess, representing her club at the U11 County Finals. Her efforts and skill were instrumental in helping her team compete at such a high level.
The assembly was a wonderful reminder of the breadth of talent within our school community. We are incredibly proud of all the children who were recognised, and we look forward to celebrating many more achievements in the future.
