Celebration Assembly Highlights Outstanding Achievements

This week’s Celebration Assembly was filled with excitement as children were recognised for their outstanding efforts inside and outside school. The assembly spotlighted children who completed the summer reading challenge, as well as those with exceptional sporting achievements.

Summer Reading Challenge Certificates

Children who completed the summer reading challenge were honoured with certificates.

HMAs & School Certificates

Headmaster’s Awards (HMAs) were presented to Cassian, Isaac, Raff, Florence J, Elizabeth D, Olivia L, Arlo, and Clara for their outstanding summer reading scrapbooks, showcasing creativity and engagement with their reading.

Additionally, school certificates were awarded to Will G, Hugo G, Mia, Charlie B, and Bonnie for their dedication to reading.

Sporting Achievements

The assembly also celebrated the remarkable sporting accomplishments of several children:

• Marnie P received the prestigious title of Ombersley Cricket Club U10 Bowler of the Year and was also the winner at Worcester Hockey Club Club Day.
• Millie B and Oliver G were jointly named Ombersley Cricket Club U10 Team Players of the Year.
• Harry G took home the Ombersley Cricket Club U10 Fielder of the Year award for his outstanding defensive skills.
• Thea proudly earned a bronze medal in the Evesham Biathlon, showcasing her multi-sport talents.

The assembly was a vibrant reminder of the children’s hard work and successes, both academically and athletically. Well done to all involved!
