Celebration Assembly: Sunshine, Songs & Superstar Success!
This week, we took our Celebration Assembly outdoors to make the most of the glorious sunshine. As pupils made their way into the quad from across the school, they were greeted by the cheerful sounds of Here Comes the Sun by The Beatles and Walking on Sunshine by Katrina and the Waves. With smiles all around and the sun shining overhead, there was a lovely buzz of anticipation. Mr Hawker opened the assembly by asking the children if they could recognise the songs and artists, and what common theme might link them together, a sunny start to a celebration full of positivity and pride!
