Chess Champs Crowned

Sofia E (Year 6) and Charles H (Year 4) were clear winners in their respective competitions, with some impressive victories in their games. In Year Five, the tournament was particularly exciting, and Elliot C was unlucky to miss out on first place.  He won two games on the final day, but still finished second, one point behind Lyra H, who won the competition. The Year Three competition was also very close, with Isaac H finishing first, one point ahead of Fearne B.

The full results are:

Year 3: 1^st Isaac H, 2^nd Fearne B, 3^rd Amelie B.

Year 4: 1^st Charles H, 2^nd Freddie W, 3^rd equal Henry D and Harry J.

Year 5: 1^st Lyra H, 2^nd: Elliot C, 3^rd Josiah K-E.

Year 6:  1^st Sophia E, 2^nd Harry C, 3^rd Isabella W.
