Children Sparkle in Christmas Nativities

This week, children from Kindergarten and Pre-Prep have taken to the stage to delight audiences in the Christmas Nativity performances.

On Tuesday, children from Kindergarten stepped into the spotlight for their production of “All About Christmas”. The play tells the story of a teddy bear who dreams of becoming a new Christmas toy, so the characters teach him all about Christmas.

The children, who had been rehearsing since October, performed their roles superbly, with fantastic confidence and enthusiasm.

Later in the day, it was the turn of our Pre-Prep children to delight their families with their festive production.

The performance, “Honky Tonky Donkey,” told the story of the most famous donkey in Nazareth, who travels to Bethlehem to find inspiration for his new song – which finally comes when the beautiful baby Jesus is born.

The children joined together to sing a number of wonderful songs, with Reception children performing their own special song and dance, “Donkey Dance”, while Year 1 performed some incredible dances to Elton John’s “Honkey Cat” and The Prodigy’s “Firestarter”.

Once again, teachers and families alike were impressed with their talent and commitment to their performances.

It was a joyful day full of festive cheer; an enormous congratulations to all our children, and thank you to everyone who came along to watch.
