Creative Adventures in Year 1

Pupils in Year 1 have been thoroughly enjoying their exciting new topic, Adventures of the Sea. This week, they put their growing knowledge of pirates to great use by creating some fantastic wanted posters.

Using their imaginations, pupils invented a range of wonderful characters, including the likes of Captain Grumps and Captain Squidface McJack. Some of these pirates were fierce and fearsome, while others were surprisingly kind, friendly, and even smelled like blossom!

We were incredibly impressed with the pupils’ focus and creativity, as well as their excellent use of adjectives to bring their characters to life through descriptive sentences.
