Creative ConneXions: Global Rhythms 2025 – A Spectacular Celebration!

This year’s Creative ConneXions: Global Rhythms 2025 was nothing short of extraordinary, offering two unforgettable evenings filled with dance, music, art, and poetry. Pupils from across the school took center stage at the John Moore Theatre, performing to a captivated audience.

Each act beautifully showcased the universal language of dance, immersing us in vibrant cultural journeys. From energetic group performances to stunning solo pieces, the dedication, creativity, and passion of our pupils shone through, making every moment a memorable experience. The performances brought people together, demonstrating how the arts can unite and celebrate our differences.

Congratulations to all the pupils involved, you were truly outstanding! Your hard work and enthusiasm were evident in every movement, note, and line, and we are incredibly proud of each and every one of you.

This year, our pupils delved into some fascinating cultural explorations:

  • Year 3 focused on India, embracing both traditional and Bollywood-style dancing.

  • Year 4 took us on a journey to Antarctica, creatively representing the wilderness and its unique animals.

  • Year 5 explored the rich traditions of Australian and Māori dance, showcasing the beauty of these cultures.

  • Year 6 brought to life the vibrant Caribbean Windrush generation and the festive Mexican Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead).

This year’s theme also inspired some truly stunning artwork and powerful poetry. A big congratulations to all of our poetry winners. A huge thank you to the families and friends who attended and supported the performances.
