Easter comes early thanks to Nursery Performance
Nursery children capped off an incredible Spring Term with a show-stopping Easter Service in the Pre-Prep Hall. Watched by family and friends, our youngest pupils took to the stage, where they performed a series of Easter themed songs and rhymes.
On their heads the children proudly wore the Easter Crowns which they had crafted in preparation for the performance. The Hall was filled with supportive parents, grandparents and extended family members and the Nursery children were excited to spot family members in the audience, beaming with pride as they all exchanged little waves.
The children kicked things off with an energetic performance of Little Peter Rabbit before launching into Chick, Chick, Chick, Chicken. The children and staff have been working hard on these Easter songs. Both were performed loudly and confidently and the Nursery staff were extremely impressed with all of the children. A smaller group then took to the stage to sing Hot Cross Buns.
After the performance, parents and children were treated to an Easter nest and a cup of tea. They were then invited to have a look at the children’s learning journey together.
