Exploring with our Hedgehog Friends in Year 2

Year 2 are continuing to enjoy their new Guided Reading book, The Hodgeheg. The story has captured their interest and sparked lots of thoughtful discussions during reading time.

This week, pupils had great fun in the outdoor classroom, where they created their very own hedgehog pebble friends. These special creations now join them during story time, making reading even more engaging and cosy The story also links perfectly with our new Science topic on habitats and microhabitats. Building on this, pupils are excited to take their pebble friends on a microhabitat hunt next week to explore where different creatures live.
