Hawford Community Gives Thanks at Harvest Festival

We were delighted to welcome Rev. Rich for our Harvest Festival Assembly yesterday morning, which featured performances from every year group, from KG2 through to Year 6.

The children enjoyed some rousing renditions of their favourite seasonal songs, and all sang beautifully, bringing great joy to the occasion.

Rev. Rich spoke to the children about the importance of harvest festival, why is it important to give thanks for the positive things our lives, and how this is a special time to show generosity to others. He also played a very enjoyable ‘guess the food’ game!

We were delighted to welcome over 100 parents who joined us for this special Harvest Festival event, where the King’s Hawford community came together to celebrate, reflect, show gratitude, and support those in need.

Thank you to all the families who generously supported the assembly and contributed wonderful Harvest boxes for donation to Worcester Foodbank, as part of our ongoing relationship with this very worthwhile organisation.
