Honouring Remembrance Day: A Heartfelt Assembly in the Cathedral
This morning, our entire school community gathered in the cathedral for a poignant Remembrance assembly. Our pupils marked this significant occasion with immense dignity and respect.
The service was led with poise by our Prefects, while the cathedral choristers sang with such beauty and grace, creating a truly moving experience for all in attendance. Our youngest children from Nursery added a heartwarming touch to the assembly by proudly displaying their artwork of poppies, carefully crafted for the occasion. Their vibrant pieces, filled with thought and creativity, were a beautiful addition to the assembly.
Special congratulations to George P. who played the Last Post, adding a memorable and solemn touch to the proceedings. A heartfelt thank you to all the family members who joined us for this meaningful tribute. It was a morning filled with reflection, gratitude, and reverence, and a reminder of the importance of honouring the past while looking towards a future shaped by peace and understanding.
