House Poetry Competition Final

The 2018 House Poetry Competition proved a keenly-fought inter-house event, with a boy and a girl from each year group reciting their chosen poem. We enjoyed a vast range of subjects and styles, some serious, some hilarious and a few plain wacky (Spike Milligan!). The children’s poems were skilfully adjudicated by Mrs Toland from the senior school English department. The children each received positive and helpful feedback on their performances. The winning house this year was Bailey, with some fine renditions. Well done to Bailey house, and well done to all who were involved in making this event a memorable poetry-fest!
