House Singing Competition Hits All the Right Notes!

This week, our much-anticipated House Singing Competition took centre stage, filling the school with music, excitement, and a wonderful display of house spirit. The competition brought together pupils from Year 3 to Year 6, each one taking part with enthusiasm and pride as they represented their houses.

First to perform was Wilson, delivering a heartfelt rendition of Oasis’s classic Wonderwall. Their performance was packed with emotion, and their harmonies showcased their teamwork and dedication to the song.

Next up were Armstrong, who transported the audience to the magical world of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat with their uplifting performance of Any Dream Will Do. The cheerful energy and clear voices of Armstrong earned plenty of applause.

Then it was time for Thomas to bring the fun with Taylor Swift’s hit Shake It Off. The children’s confidence and infectious enthusiasm had everyone smiling and tapping along to the beat, a true crowd-pleaser.

Finally, Bailey closed the competition with a stunning rendition of How Far I’ll Go from Moana. Their performance captured the adventurous spirit of the song, and their expressive singing drew everyone into the magic of the moment.

Each house brought their own unique flair to the competition, and it was a joy to see every pupil involved. The camaraderie and collaboration displayed during the rehearsals and performances were a testament to the power of music to unite and inspire. In the end, it was Armstrong who claimed the top spot with their vibrant and polished performance of Any Dream Will Do. Congratulations to all the pupils in Armstrong for a well-deserved win!

A huge well done to every house for their hard work, creativity, and courage in stepping up on stage, it truly was a memorable event that showcased the incredible talent and team spirit within our school.
