Interhouse Cross Country Race: An Afternoon of Determination and Team Spirit

On Friday Afternoon, every child from Reception to Year 6 laced up their trainers and took to the fields for the school’s highly anticipated interhouse cross country race.

Spanning the top and bottom fields, the course was a true test of endurance, teamwork, and determination.

The event saw fierce competition among the school’s four houses: Kinver, Malvern, Clent, and Bredon. Children of all ages gave it their all, navigating the challenging terrain with grit and enthusiasm. Despite the chilly weather and slippery conditions, the spirit of sportsmanship was evident as participants cheered each other on, showcasing the camaraderie that defines our school community.

Well done to everyone who took part and pushed themselves to the limit! It was heart-warming to see the effort and resilience displayed by all competitors, regardless of their final placement.

Congratulations to all the houses for their incredible performances, the results and timings will be counted over the weekend, and the winner revealed next week.

A huge thank you to the teachers, and parents who helped make the event a success. The interhouse cross country race reminded us all that determination and teamwork can triumph over any challenge — even a cold, muddy afternoon.
