Jia Jie Piano recital in the Cathedral

On Thursday 17th May, seven pupils accompanied by Mrs Gunter and Mr Braithwaite attended a piano recital in Worcester Cathedral given by former KSA pupil Jia Jie Huang. Jia Jie is a Music Scholar in the L6th at King’s Senior School and is a phenomenally talented pianist. Our pupils were clearly captivated by his demanding programme which included works by composers as diverse as Scarlatti, Chopin and Gulda. This was a truly inspirational occasion and, if post-concert comments are to be believed, has clearly motivated at least one of our young pianists to return to scale practice with renewed vigour!
