King’s St Albans Celebration Assembly: Pupils Shine
This week at King’s St Albans, the celebration assembly was filled with joy as pupils were recognised for their kindness, creativity, and academic achievements. The assembly provided a wonderful opportunity to highlight the children’s hard work and share their creative contributions with the whole school.
Pre-Prep Awards:
- Olivia E (Rec) was congratulated for super phonics work and sharing lots of creative ideas.
- Barney M (1C) was celebrated for being a kind and helpful member of the class, always offering support to his peers and contributing to a positive classroom atmosphere.
- Mikaeel L (2F) received praise for his incredible focus and enthusiasm while making his “Plop the Barn Owl” project, demonstrating a keen attention to detail and creativity.

These pupils were recognised for their accurate work in place values during maths lessons, showcasing excellent understanding and precision.
The assembly also featured extracts from the humorous and imaginative “What I Didn’t Do Over the Summer” poems, which were met with much laughter from the entire school. Special commendations were given to:

The entire class was recognised for their fantastic first full week back, demonstrating hard work and excellent listening skills. - Ben, Izzy R, and Uriah
These pupils were awarded for their very entertaining creative writing, which captivated both teachers and pupils alike with their imagination and storytelling. - Rudy 4R For kindness and leadership, after choosing to read at break times with a Year 3 child.
The celebration assembly was a delightful reminder of the talents and positive spirit within the school. Well done to all the pupils for their continued dedication and enthusiasm!
