King’s St Alban’s Girls Shine in Spirited Football Fixture

King’s St Alban’s U11-U10 girls’ football team enjoyed a fantastic and competitive fixture against King’s Hawford this week, with both teams showing great determination and sportsmanship throughout.

The match began as a closely contested encounter, with Hawford defending well and their goalkeeper making a number of impressive saves to keep the scores level early on. The team worked hard to build momentum, demonstrating strong teamwork and growing confidence as the game progressed.

After a tight opening period, the girls began to find their rhythm, moving the ball effectively and making excellent use of space. Their attacking play became increasingly confident, leading to a series of well-taken goals as the match unfolded.

The girls showed great awareness in their positioning and supported one another well both in and out of possession. It was particularly pleasing to see the team’s energy, communication and resilience throughout the game.
