Little Mathematicians at Work in Nursery Swans Group

This week, our Swans group in Nursery pre-school have been busy with all things sorting and counting! The children explored a variety of counters, arranging them by colour, shape, and size, developing early maths and reasoning skills through engaging, hands-on activities.

They have been learning to compare objects that are larger and smaller, while also practising their counting skills, building confidence with numbers in a playful and supportive environment.

It’s been lovely to see their focus and enthusiasm as they think carefully and work together, early maths in action, well done Nursery!
