Not one but two class assemblies!
This week Reception and 6CH have wowed their peers, parents and staff by each delivering excellent class assemblies.
On Tuesday 6CH led an excellent Valentine’s Day class assembly. The presenters in the ‘studio’ welcomed us to their daytime television show Good Afternoon KSA! Roving reporters interviewed pupils and staff at King’s St Alban’s to find out what love means to them; special guests gave us an interesting ‘Thought for the Day’; World History correspondents and actors explained the history behind Valentine’s Day; Arts and Entertainment correspondents interviewed famous celebrities from the worlds of television, sport, music and literature and our choristers sang beautifully about God’s love. Love (and laughter) was definitely in the air! The pupils delivered their lines perfectly and kept their audience engaged. What an amazing assembly this was: well done 6CH!
Reception rounded off their topic of ‘People Who Help Us’ by delivering a brilliant assembly in the Pre-Prep Hall for their parents. This half of term they have enjoyed some fantastic visitors, who have helped them with this brilliant topic. The police, doctors and firefighters: what more could a 5-year-old ask for! During the assembly children took on many of these roles. Mr Chapman and Sara were blown away with their mini me’s! It was amazing to see all of the children perform with such enjoyment and confidence! Well done, Reception! Your teachers are very proud of you.
