NSPCC Number Day: A Fun-Filled Celebration of Maths!

Number Day was the perfect opportunity to make maths exciting and inspire a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude towards numbers. This year, we had planned a special timetable packed with fun, maths-based activities across the school. From engaging challenges to practical problem-solving, the day offered plenty of opportunities for pupils to apply their mathematical skills in creative and enjoyable ways.

We were thrilled to see so many children take part in Dress up for Digits. Across the school, there were a variety of fun activities. Nursery children proudly wore their numbered t-shirts, many of which were made at home! Year 1 got active with number yoga, while Year 4 took part in an exciting school number treasure hunt. Year 6 added to the fun by designing and creating their very own maths-based board games, which were a hit with everyone!

A big thank you to everyone who donated to this worthy cause, helping to make a difference for the NSPCC.

What a fantastic way to bring numbers to life while supporting such a great charity!
