Nursery Christmas Stars Shine in Our School Chapel
This week, our school chapel was filled with Christmas cheer as our youngest pupils from Nursery took to the stage for a joyful celebration of festive songs. Families were invited to watch and were treated to a delightful programme of Christmas music, brought to life with enthusiastic actions, dance moves, and plenty of sparkle.
Accompanied by our music teacher on the harp, the children performed with remarkable confidence for such young pupils. For our two- and three-year-olds, taking part in a performance of this kind is a truly valuable learning experience. Standing in front of an audience helps them develop a sense of self-assurance and pride, while singing together nurtures their listening skills, rhythm, memory and early musical awareness. The children also demonstrated wonderful teamwork, watching their teachers carefully, remembering actions, and supporting one another throughout the performance. Moments like these play an important role in helping our Nursery pupils build their communication skills, express themselves and grow in confidence.
Their smiles lit up the chapel, spreading joy to everyone present and showing just how much they enjoyed sharing their songs.
Well done to our Nursery Christmas stars for a fantastic performance, the perfect start to our Christmas celebrations at King’s St Alban’s.
