Nursery Graduation: A Joyful Celebration of Growth and New Beginnings
This week, we marked a truly special occasion in the life of our school community, our Nursery Pre-School pupils celebrated their graduation in a wonderful ceremony held in the beautiful setting of our Chapel. It was a proud and emotional moment for children, families, and staff alike, as we looked back on a year filled with learning, laughter, and incredible personal growth.
The ceremony was a joyful tribute to the children’s unique journeys throughout their time in Nursery. Each child was recognised with a special personalised award, celebrating the talents, character, and achievements they have developed over the year:
-
Edward was recognised for developing amazing construction skills, carefully planning and building with great focus and creativity.
-
Albert has grown in confidence during P.E., showing enthusiasm and energy in every session.
-
Beatriz delighted us all with her wonderful imaginative play ideas, always bringing stories to life in the classroom.
-
Niamh impressed us with her fabulous drawing skills, using colour and detail to express her ideas beautifully.
-
Sophia showed growing confidence in French speaking, embracing new words and phrases with a smile.
-
George was always ready to lend a hand, earning his award for being consistently helpful with jobs around Nursery.
-
Lenny showed a natural curiosity and adventurous spirit, especially during exploration time at Forest School.
-
Finnan demonstrated a keen interest in music, especially in exploring instruments and experimenting with sounds.
-
Matilda had a wonderful sense of rhythm and expression, shining in music and movement activities.
-
Aubrie was celebrated for her creative imagination, which inspired her play and artwork in magical ways.
Each child walked up to receive their certificate with pride from our Headmaster Mr Hawker to the warm applause of their families and teachers. It was a moving reflection of how far they have come, not just in their learning, but in confidence, friendships, and a sense of self.
Although the graduation ceremony marked the end of their time in Nursery, it was also the beginning of an exciting new chapter. These young learners are now ready to step into Reception with curiosity, enthusiasm, and a strong foundation for future success.
We couldn’t be prouder of everything our Nursery graduates have achieved. They leave Nursery not only with skills and knowledge, but with kind hearts, creative minds, and a wonderful readiness to embrace the next stage of their educational journey. We look forward to seeing all they will accomplish in the years to come.
