Pre-Prep Enjoy a Magical Theatre Trip to the Midlands Arts Centre
This week, our Pre-Prep pupils set off on a festive adventure to Birmingham’s Midlands Arts Centre to watch the enchanting production of The Owl Who Came for Christmas. Excitement filled the air from the moment the children finished their early lunch and boarded the coach, eagerly chatting about the story they had been enjoying in school.
Having already listened to and explored the book together, the children could not wait to see the tale brought to life on stage and it certainly didn’t disappoint. The performance was a beautifully imaginative and heart-warming interpretation of the story, full of captivating characters, gentle humour and magical festive moments. Throughout the show, the children were completely absorbed, their faces glowing with wonder as they watched the Christmas adventure unfold. It was lovely to see how engaged they were, spotting familiar scenes from the book and reacting with delight to the surprises added by the performers.
It was a truly memorable afternoon, a perfect blend of theatre, storytelling and seasonal excitement. Our Pre-Prep pupils returned to school brimming with joy, festive spirit, and plenty of magical memories to share.
