Pre-season Rugby Success

The U11 rugby team had a pleasing start to the year at a tough pre-season tournament at The Elms on Saturday.  The A team were in a tough group and played some great rugby to beat The Downs, The Grange Monmouth and Abberley Hall.  An epic final game saw us go down two tries to one against a quick and skilful team from St John’s on the Hill.  The boys made excellent progress throughout the afternoon, especially in terms of decision making and defence.  Equally pleasing was the performance of a joint King’s B team.  This saw some of our boys join forces with King’s Hawford and play against A teams from other schools.  The boys performed with determination and deserved their return of two wins and two losses.  Well done, boys!
