Prep Pupils Dive into Aquathlon Week!

This week, pupils from Years 3 to 6 took part in one of the most eagerly anticipated events in the school calendar, the House Aquathlon. Filled with energy, determination, and house spirit, it was a fantastic celebration of physical challenge and team pride.

Each pupil began the event with a swim of 1, 2, or 4 lengths of the pool, cheered on by their housemates and teachers. It was then straight onto a run, Years 3 and 4 took to the school grounds, racing around the quad and playground, while Years 5 and 6 tackled the longer and more demanding River Run.

There was a wonderful atmosphere throughout the week, with pupils encouraging one another, showing sportsmanship and resilience. Even after completing the tiring swim-run challenge, one enthusiastic Year 3 pupil was overheard saying, Can we do it again? a true testament to how much the children enjoy this event and how embedded it is in our school’s sporting culture.

We are incredibly proud of everyone who took part, and a big well done to all our individual year group champions and, of course, the winning house overall.
