Pupil Voice championed during Children’s Mental Health Week
This week, our pupils have been taking part in Children’s Mental Health Week. This is a mental health awareness week that empowers, equips, and aims to give a voice to all children and young people in the UK.
This year’s theme is “My Voice Matters”. Classes have been considering what matters to them in their daily life and the wider world. Pupils have thought carefully about things that are important to them and expressed their thoughts and opinions.
Within our carefully designed well-being offer at KSA, we have also recently trialled Microsoft Reflect with some of our classes. This is an exciting well-being app that supports connection, expression and learning. The platform enables children to share their feelings regularly with adults and has been shown to have a positive impact on engagement, learning and well-being. Watch this space as we look to develop this further!
