Pupils enjoy ghoulish party full of treats

A truly “fangtastic” time was had by all at the King’s St Alban’s Halloween Parties, thanks to the outstanding efforts of our Parent Social Group! Last Saturday, the PSG hosted not one but two Halloween parties in the gothic surroundings of College Hall.

College Hall was the ideal backdrop for the party; with a host of spooky decorations and atmospheric lighting, the scene was well set! Thanks to Parties by Amber, the Hall was transformed as skeletons, pumpkins, gigantic spiders, witches’ cauldrons and floating witches’ hats set the scene for an afternoon of fun.

The Nursery and Pre-Prep pupils kick-started proceedings, enthusiastically hitting the dance floor with some impressive moves, and entertainment from Non Stop Kids Entertainment ensured that the party went with a bang! The children thoroughly enjoyed jumping around to the latest hits and playing a number of party games, and a fancy-dress competition, judged by Mr Chapman, Headmaster of King’s St Alban’s, was closely fought!  Congratulations go to Akshay and Tiegan, both Year Two pupils, who collected their prizes with enormous smiles on their faces!

Hot on the heels of the Nursery and Pre-Prep Party, the King’s St Alban’s Parent Social Group quickly prepared for party number two: the Prep School Halloween Party! Ready to embrace some Halloween fun, the pupils had made tremendous efforts with their costumes; we had witches and wizards, ghosts and ghouls a-plenty. The dance floor was once again filled with energetic pupils throwing some impressive moves and the children were kept entertained by the fabulous Non Stop Kids Entertainment. Congratulations go to Che-David and Suzanna, who took the crowns for best costumes as judged by Mr Chapman.

A huge “thank you” goes from the King’s St Alban’s Parent Social Group to all of those pupils and parents who supported the event.
