Pupils triumph in the pool at KSA Gala

This week our super swimmers from Years Three and Four competed in a swimming gala at King’s St Alban’s. After making the short journey across town to central Worcester, the pupils were excited and ready to get to work. They were not fazed by the King’s St Alban’s pool, which at 25m is slightly larger than our home pool. After a quick change, they were raring to go.

The swimmers were up against tough opposition from RGS The Grange and King’s St Alban’s. It was wonderful to have so many of our young swimmers involved in the Gala; each school entered an A and a B team.

There were some fantastic swims, and pupils from King’s Hawford put in some outstanding performances. Strong swimming from pupils in both King’s Hawford teams resulted in both our A and B teams winning their respective ‘pools’.

Well done to Daisy E, Austin R, Iza MP, Millie B, Finn MP, James B and Harry G, who all won their individual races. A special mention must go to Charles H, Jasper, P and Nicholas HT from Year Three. They swam magnificently in their first ever Swimming Gala. Mr Hodgkins was very proud of all of the pupils who took part in the Gala.
