Reception visit to Diglis Train

Reception had a fabulous trip to the Diglis Railway on Monday. On their journey they stopped off to visit the Edwards’ house boat. Monty did an amazing job of showing his friends around the boat and telling them his favourite things about the boat. It was a real treat for the children and we are very grateful to Mr Edwards for being so accommodating. We then walked on to the Diglis miniature railway. The children listened intently about how steam and electric trains are made; they were a credit to everyone with the questions they asked and the way they listened to the train men and lady! Once the trains were all set up, the children got  to ride on them all which was very exciting and hopefully a brilliant experience they will remember. Thank you to Worcester and District Miniature Railway for such a super visit and for being so excellent with the children.
