Reception Welcome a Visit from the Emergency Services
This week, Reception had an exciting visit from one of our incredible emergency services as part of their ‘Who Helps Us?’ topic. Alan the paramedic arrived with his ambulance, and the pupils were eager to explore and learn about his important role in keeping our community safe and healthy.
The children enthusiastically explored the ambulance, testing out equipment such as the heart rate monitor and asking Alan lots of thoughtful questions. Alan shared fascinating information about his day-to-day responsibilities and the many ways paramedics provide vital assistance.
The visit ended with a thrilling treat as the pupils watched the ambulance lights flash and listened to the siren sound, a memorable way to conclude this special experience. Well done, Reception, for your curiosity and enthusiasm!
