Reception’s Exciting Journey Around the World

Reception have thoroughly enjoyed continuing their learning on the topic “All Around the World” this week. The children loved sharing photographs from their own family holidays and used atlases and Google Maps to discover where they have travelled across the globe.

On Tuesday afternoon, the class took an exciting walk to a local travel agent in Worcester, where they collected holiday brochures and gathered inspiration for their own dream getaways.

Back in the classroom, the children have been busy packing suitcases and discussing what they would need to take to different holiday locations. They have also embraced their roles as travel agents and customers in our role-play area, confidently booking holidays and exploring different countries and cultures.

We are looking forward to seeing where their learning adventures take them next!
