Reception’s First School Trip to Churchfields Farm A Day to Remember!

On Wednesday, our Reception class embarked on their very first school trip to Churchfields Farm, and it was nothing short of spectacular! The children enjoyed a fun-filled day discovering the animals, feeding them, and experiencing the excitement of a tractor trailer ride, which was a highlight for everyone!

During their farm adventure, they were given a special tour of the ice cream factory. The children were thrilled to watch the fascinating process of ice cream being made and were even treated to a taste of freshly mixed honey cone ice cream which was an absolute hit!

We are incredibly grateful to the wonderful staff at Churchfields, who were so welcoming and ensured the day was a memorable one for all involved. They remarked on how well-behaved our Reception children were, showing curiosity and asking brilliant questions throughout the day.

To top off the excitement, each child had the chance to choose their own ice cream treat, which they thoroughly enjoyed. By the time the bus ride home came around, the children were understandably quiet and tired but undeniably happy, as were the teachers!

We couldn’t be prouder of our Reception class for representing the school so beautifully.
