Reception’s Sweet Success!

This week our Reception class celebrated a very special reward, their final Bear Jar treat of the year! After weeks of hard work, kindness, and brilliant teamwork, the children had successfully filled their Bear Jar and were excitedly waiting for just the right moment to enjoy their well-earned prize. At last, a sunny afternoon gave us the perfect opportunity!

After showing great responsibility by completing their classroom jobs, the children set off on a lovely walk down to the river. There, they were greeted by the ever-popular ice cream truck! With big smiles and even bigger decisions to make, they each chose their favourite flavour and settled by the riverside to enjoy their delicious treat in the sunshine.

This moment was not only a joyful end-of-term celebration, but also a reflection of just how much our Reception pupils have grown over the year. Their hard work, resilience, and enthusiasm have been wonderful to see and we couldn’t be prouder. They are now more than ready to take the exciting step into Year 1!
