Review of the week: Spring Term week 6

At the start of today’s assembly, Mr Butt declared that he needed a larger table on which to lay out all of the prizes and awards he has to hand out each week. This in itself is testament to the talents and efforts of our student body!

A number of our pupils have been shining brightly beyond the classroom in recent weeks. Today celebrated the achievements of Pippa P, Orla B and Izzy W. Pippa P has been magnificent in the pool, impressing at the Worcester Swimming Championships and being crowned winner in the U8 age category. Orla achieved first place in a recent cheerleading competition and Izzy W received a distinction in her first Royal Academy of Dance exam.

Headmaster Awards:

In Year 1 Noah P, Emily G, Isla H, Brax B, Alex V, Alexander S-C and Indie F all produced some fantastic leaflets outlining the different types of homes as part of their ‘Home Sweet Home’ topic. Emily G also received a HMA for her retelling of the parable of the wise man and the foolish man.

Izzy W received an HMA for her brilliant independent work in maths and Maisie L for her brilliant progress in maths demonstrating great confidence in the subject! Eleanor N received hers for writing a dragon story.

Pip K received one for producing an impressive cave art animation video.

Year 6 have produced some fantastic wire sculptors. Well done to Issie F, Edith D, Georgia P, Michelle Z, Erin L and Blythe.
