Senior Choir performs at Lights of Love Service

Last Friday our Senior Choir performed in the St Richard’s Hospice’s Lights of Love Service at Worcester Cathedral. It is always an honour for our pupils to take part in such a poignant service. During the service thousands of lights were lit in memory and celebration of loved ones as part of the annual campaign by St Richard’s Hospice.

Pupils in our Senior Choir travelled across to the City Centre and spent time in the impressive Chapter House where they warmed up their vocals ahead of the performance. The choir then performed three songs to the packed congregation: Visiting Hours by Ed Sheeran, She’s The One by Robbie Williams and the hymn Seek Ye First.

All of those present performed with confidence and poise and really conveyed the tone of the service in their singing. The songs were reflective and uplifting. All of the staff that accompanied the choir were very proud of the performance and decorum showed by the pupils during the service.
