Senior School Concert

Senior School Concert

On Thursday evening 21 Y6 pupils took part in the Senior School Concert in College Hall. They joined members of the Fourth Form and Senior Choirs and First Orchestra to perform Tunes from the Trenches as part of the school's Armistice celebrations. Our pupils have worked very hard to learn the music and they really did  themselves proud. They also clearly enjoyed the opportunity to hear the large senior school ensembles perform, giving them a taste of what their music-making might hold in the future. They were particularly inspired by ex-KSA pupil Archie J's piece No Man's Land, which received its first performance by the Wind Band. This really demonstrated to the children where their compositions in music lessons might lead them and I'm sure it will inspire them to new creative heights in music lessons!

You can listen to Tunes from the Trenches along with recordings of all performances from the night here.
