Smiles All Round at Forest School

There were smiles all round this week as our Prep pupils enjoyed another wonderful Forest School session. One of the loveliest aspects of these sessions is the way they bring together Reception, Year 1 and Year 2, creating a real sense of community across the year groups.

Our older pupils play a key role, guiding and encouraging their younger peers as they explore new challenges and step outside their comfort zones. Whether it’s lending a helping hand when crawling through mud, offering reassurance when balancing on a log, or celebrating a classmate’s success in building a den, these moments highlight the care, teamwork and leadership that flourish in Forest School.

At the same time, our younger pupils show great bravery and determination, inspired by the support of their older peers. The result is a joyful blend of adventure, resilience and collaboration, with plenty of laughter along the way.
