The whole school has enjoyed taking part in a number of sporting activities to mark Sport Relief 2018 and raise funds for charity. Each day this week the PE department have set out a number of challenges designed to get the pupils active. These activities have ranged from hula-hooping to tennis "keepy-uppies" and a netball shoot out to "Flossing". All of the activity culminated in a home clothes day with a sporting twist. Staff and pupils were invited to dress in sporty attire with a £1 donation being made to Sport Relief.
The highlight of the week has to be the two whole school activities that took place in the the playground earlier today. Firstly a ‘wake and shake’ session led by Mr Chapman. This got the heart pumping and the blood flowing with a quick stretch and some enthusiastic cardio! Secondly a Swish Swish dance flashmob which saw all pupils showing off their best swishing. Both events encapsulated the spirit of Sport Relief. It was lovely to see all of the pupils joining in.
