Stickman comes to Pre-Prep

Last Tuesday our reception pupils wrapped up warm and headed out to Forest School. This week they have been focusing on Stickman by Julia Donaldson as part of their storybook learning. After discussing the book, the children each went in search of a suitable stick to make their very own Stickman.

Once they had found the perfect sticks they were supervised using the knife to shave a space to draw a face. The rest of the session was spent drawing faces on the sticks and collecting items to create arms and legs for the sticks.
