Sunshine and Exploration for Nursery
This week, our youngest pupils in Nursery embraced the beautiful sunshine with an exciting outdoor adventure in the heart of Worcester. Taking full advantage of our wonderful surroundings, the children set off on a scenic walk along the river, immersing themselves in the sights and sounds of nature.
Their journey led them to the Cathedral Gardens, where they had great fun running around and exploring. After some energetic play, they took a peaceful break on a bench by the river, watching the swans glide gracefully across the water, a moment of calm reflection in their busy day.
Adding to the excitement, the children participated in a scavenger hunt, eagerly spotting bikes, swans, trees, and boats. This engaging activity sparked their curiosity, encouraging lively discussions about the world around them and enhancing their observational skills.
As we celebrated the International Day of Happiness, this adventure was a perfect reminder of how simple moments spent in nature can bring joy and inspiration. We are incredibly fortunate to be based in the heart of Worcester, surrounded by such a rich and stimulating environment that supports our Nursery pupils’ learning, exploration, and development.
Well done to all our young adventurers for their enthusiasm and excitement in discovering the world around them!
