Swimming Gala & House Sport Competition
Swimming Gala
On Thursday 5th December, our Year 3 and Year 4 children took part in their very first swimming gala, an event filled with both excitement and a hint of nervous anticipation as they ventured into the unknown.
The gala featured us and King’s Hawford, which created a friendly and encouraging atmosphere, perfectly suited for their first experience of competitive swimming. The children rose to the occasion beautifully. Our regular swimmers showcased their hard work and dedication with some truly excellent performances. Even more inspiring were the standout efforts from our less experienced swimmers, who displayed remarkable determination. This event truly captures the essence of school spirit. The enthusiastic support from parents, grandparents, and siblings in the crowd added an extra layer of joy. The sight of the children’s proud smiles as they completed their races and looked up to hear the cheers was a delight to witness.
A huge congratulations to all the children who participated. Whether seasoned swimmers or first-timers, they each contributed to making the gala a memorable success. We are so proud of every one of them!
