Inter-House Cricket Final

Our Inter-House Cricket Final Tournament was completed on Wednesday. Our Year 6 children enjoyed a sunny afternoon at the fields!

We had a third and fourth play-off between Thomas and Wilson, with some impressive bowling from Giles, Anna and Sazan and a number of sixes hit by Angus. Thomas won with 252 runs.

The final was exciting, and the staff were very impressed by the standard of the play. Sophie got a special mention for her fielding skills.

The Inter-House Cricket final was won by Bailey who all played well but Steph and Jinc were an exceptional batting pair, scoring 20 runs off their two overs.

A love of sports is at the core of life at King’s St Alban’s. Every pupil at King’s St Alban’s is encouraged to get involved and find their passion on the sports field. The range of sports at the school enables all pupils to find something which they really enjoy and in which they can do well.

All children at King’s St Alban’s are given the opportunity to take part in inter-school fixtures from Year 3 onwards. Our superb location alongside King’s Worcester means we are able to offer an outstanding range of sports facilities to our children. We play sports outdoors all year round on our all-weather pitch and our sports fields. As well as an indoor, heated, twenty-five metre swimming pool and large sports hall on our own site, there is a second sports hall, the Dance Studio, and a climbing wall available on the Senior School’s campus.
