U11 Netballers Qualify for National IAPs Finals

We are thrilled to announce that the U11 netball team have qualified for the National IAPS Netball Finals at Kent College this March following a qualifying competition held last week – a fantastic achievement and one the whole school community is incredibly proud of.

The girls produced an outstanding performance throughout the qualifiers, winning all four of their group matches to finish top of their group. This secured their place as one of the top two IAPS teams alongside Bromsgrove, and means they now qualify to represent the West Midlands at the National Finals on March 19th at Kent College.

Following their success, King’s Hawford Headmaster, Mr Butt, said:

“We are all so proud of the girls’ efforts on Friday – qualifying for the National Finals is a brilliant achievement! It is testament to their hard work and determination, and that of our excellent Games staff who have prepared them so well. Thank you to all the parents who came to Rugby to support, and we look forward to the finals in March with much excitement.”

Mrs Beach and Mrs Butt are extremely proud of the team and thank you to Miss Cox, Head of Netball at King’s Senior, for her support throughout the tournament.

A special thank you as well to the parents who came along to cheer the girls on – your support is always hugely appreciated.

An exceptional achievement – well done, girls!
