Weekly round up: Spring Term Week 12.

Reception

  • For working hard on some amazing writing, Coco received a Super Star award.
  • Winston earned a Risk Taking certificate for engaging with his friends.

Year 1

  • Hugo received an Independence award for his focus and hard work in creative writing
  • For listening to instructions and giving his all, Charlie was awarded a Super Star certificate.

Year 2

  • Maddie received a well-earned Risk Taking award for always embracing new tasks and challenges.
  • Bertie is the class Super Star thanks to all the hard work he put into learning his spellings.

Year 3

  • Congratulations to Greta who earned a Merit in the Verse Speaking section at the Worcester Competitive Arts Festival.

Year 4

  • Well done to Louie, Luca, Ché-David, Emma, Will and Madie on their very accurate plotting of co-ordinates.
  • Brody won the Novice Vocal Solo section of the Worcester Competitive Arts Festival and Charlotte wrote an excellent short story.

Year 5

  • 5E have been learning about tides, currents and the formation of beaches, and Lottie, Lily, Will, Grace and Jack were congratulated on the standard of the diagrams they produced.

Year 6

  • Mila and Sienna C wrote very imaginative modern day versions of Shakespeare’s All the World’s a Stage.  Mila used the analogy of a painting and Sienna a jigsaw. Well done, girls.
  • Emily passed her Grade 3 singing with Merit.

Times tables

  • Today we awarded 21 certificates, including Gold for Martha, Helena, Sienna, Alban, Izzy and Mortimer and Platinum for Jasper M and Jack B.

Coronation Bird Boxes

  • Well done to everyone who created a Coronation themed design for a bird box.  The school maintenance team will be busy fixing these around the school over Easter and we hope to see birds nesting and feeding around the school site for many years to come.  A huge well done to Mrs Rickets, who managed to create a perfect representation of each of the designs on the boxes! The winners were Lakshmi in Reception, Archie in Year 1, Daniel in Year 2, Cerys in Year 3, Tilly in Year 4, Amélie in Year 5 and Jack in Year 6.

Sport

  • Well done to Lottie, Millie, Karla, Emily, Erin, Eshal, Sienna and Ella, who represented KSA at the Warwick Prep School netball tournament on Saturday.
  • Five KSA boys travelled to London with boys from King’s Hawford to play at Rosslyn Park and won four out of their five matches, scoring sixteen tries and conceding only four.  Well done, Peter, Harry, Jack, William and Ralphie.
  • Daniel, Leen, Charlie W, Suzie and Amber earned medals at the City of Worcester Gymnastics Club.
  • William B will represent Worcestershire in Karate at the Berlin International Wado Cup in Berlin next month.   Good luck, William!
