Weekly round-up: Spring Term week 7

IAPS Netball:

The U11 Girls Netball team shared their experience of the IAPS Netball tournament with the rest of the school by reading the match report they have written. Well done to the girls on a brilliant performance and an excellent match report. The girls also received their certificates from the tournament; congratulations to Emily, Penny, Lucy, Erin, Eshal, Sienna D and Ella.

Reading Miles Challenge:

Well done to Oliver and Lucy for their participation in the Reading Miles Challenge.

Swimming Club Awards:

Worcester Swimming Club awards were presented to Evie, Shreya and James.

Gymnastics Awards:

Marnie and Persie were presented with gymnastic medals.

PE Mini Olympics:

Congratulations to the winners of the PE Mini Olympics organised by Mr Hooman: Ana, Suzie, Laura, Will and George (Y5) and Penny, Jack and Iman (Y6).

Class Assemblies:

6CH were congratulated for their brilliant assembly on ‘Love’.

Reception were praised for their assembly about ‘People Who Help Us’.

Chorister Pancake Races:

The Choristers all took part in the annual Pancake Race in the Cathedral on Tuesday and they were commended for their efforts.

Pre-Prep Super Star Awards:

Reception: Ivan received an award for his excellent focus in lessons and Lakshmi was awarded the Superstar Award.

Year 1: Nell was praised for independence in class and Thomas was awarded the Superstar Award.

Year 2: Matthew impressed his teachers with his independent approach to his work this week and Elodie won the Superstar Award.

Well done to Lakshmi, Rory and Winston for their brilliant writing about Dinky Street.

Year2:

Well done to Julietta, Maddie, Amber, Persie, Matthew and Bertie, who have produced some excellent poems about love this week.

Year 3:

Nell, Edith, Alban and Jasper were praised for their super handwriting efforts in class this week.

Year 5:

Well done to Lily G and Emily S, who have been awarded their ‘Hero Handwriting’ awards.

Isaac, Otto, Florence and Millie in 5E have been praised for their creative writing, using their senses to draw posters in the reader’s mind.

Year 6:

Well done to Katie, Ralphie, Evie, Sienna D and Annie for their drawings and research on German tanks in History this week.

Katie and Peter have impressed in French this week. Katie has excelled in a speaking task whilst Peter shone in a writing task.
