Boy's Cricket

U8/9 Cricket v RGS Springfield

A strong bowling performance for the first game of the season saw KSA defeat RGS Springfield 243-3 to 224-6.

Great credit, especially to all Yr3’s, who played in their first ever match. They looked liked they’d been playing for years!

U10/11 Cricket v RGS Springfield

A pleasing performance for KSA Boys U10/11 team saw them defeat RGS Springfield 263-3 to 162-13.

Every KSA team member played their part either with wickets or positive batting-running.  In particular, Xander, who took 3 wickets. And Ethan, who hit three 6's in an over.

A good day at the office.

Girls' Cricket

U10 Girls’ Cricket v Winterfold

Despite the torrential rain, we were delighted to play our first U10 cricket match in the sports hall against Winterfold on Wednesday. We were very impressed with the progress the girls have made with their cricket skills and some are already showing great potential in a relatively new sport. Our girls batted well and took their chances to make runs. Although they scored more runs than Winterfold we lost more wickets to a couple of their girls whose bowling was impressive.

Martha should be congratulated for her calling and running between the wickets. Piper was rightly awarded player of the match as her bowling was accurate and both of her overs achieved the lowest run rate.
