Wellbeing Game: Discovering What Makes Year 5 Smile
This week, Year 5 embraced another thoughtful Wellbeing Wednesday with an engaging activity designed to strengthen connections and spark conversation. Pupils gathered in the glorious sunshine to enjoy a specially designed board game that encouraged them to share and discuss their favourite things with one another.
It was a joy to witness the lively, animated conversations as children opened up, discovered common interests, and learned more about each other in a relaxed and supportive setting. The activity took place in the beautiful surroundings of our Quad, offering the perfect backdrop for reflection, connection, and laughter.
At King’s St Alban’s, we believe that wellbeing is not a standalone concept, but something that is deeply woven into every aspect of school life. Activities like this help to nurture empathy, build friendships, and develop the confidence to express oneself, essential skills for both personal and academic growth.
We are proud to create opportunities where pupils can thrive not just as learners, but as individuals who care for and understand one another.
