World Record-Breaking Cyclist Josh Quigley Inspires Young Pupils with Talk on Resilience and Perseverance
Josh Quigley, renowned for his world record-breaking feats in cycling, recently visited Years Five and Six pupils to share his extraordinary journey and inspire them by reinforcing their understanding of the importance of resilience, perseverance, and health. Quigley, who holds the Guinness World Record for the greatest distance cycled in one week, captivated the pupils with stories of his remarkable achievements and the challenges he overcame along the way.
During his visit, Quigley recounted his awe-inspiring feat of cycling 2,179 miles (3,507.8 km) in just seven days, a testament to his determination and endurance. However, his journey did not stop there. Quigley also shared the incredible story of cycling 26,000 miles around the world over a span of five years. This global adventure required immense commitment, perseverance, and an unwavering spirit, qualities that he passionately conveyed to his young audience.
