Year 1 Pupil Kitty’s Inspiring Donation to the Little Princess Trust

We are incredibly proud of Year 1 pupil Kitty, who has made a heartfelt donation to the Little Princess Trust. This wonderful charity provides around 2,000 real-hair wigs each year, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment and other medical conditions.

Kitty first heard about the charity through a family friend, and when she decided to have her hair cut, she and her family discussed how she could help. After looking at pictures of children who had undergone chemotherapy, Kitty was determined to contribute by donating her hair to help make a wig. With great care, her hair was measured, carefully banded, and finally cut, ready to be transformed into a beautiful wig.

Now, Kitty and her family hope to take their support even further by raising £700, the amount it costs the charity to create just one wig.
