Year 1 visit to Avoncroft Museum

Despite the poor weather on Friday, Year 1 had a fantastic time at Avoncroft Museum where they participated in a ‘Three Little Pigs’ workshop.  After listening to a retelling of the classic fairytale, the children were able to learn more about construction techniques including wattle and daub and even hand-made their own bricks.  As ever, our Year 1 children impressed us with their enthusiasm, team work and fantastic behaviour.  Well done Year 1, we are very proud of you!
